BMW CAS3Â (CAR ACCESS SYSTEM) REPAIRS
Do you have ignition problems? Does your car not start? If so, this could be due to an issue with your Car Access System.
The immobiliser module is fitted in the car as an anti-theft alarm system and enables the start of BMW vehicles. Each key has an integrated transponder chip, and a coil ring which is built within the key slot. The transponder chip is read by this coil from the CAS module, if the key code matches the code written in the CAS module, this allows the car to start. However, if the software in CAS is corrupted or damaged it will fail to detect the key and will not allow the car to start.
Common failure of CAS3 can happen due to:
Unsuccessful software update
Unsuccessful software downgrade for key making
Unsuccessful key making
Car theft attempt
We offer repairs for CAS3 software by post or local mobile service.
Used CAS are also available to code to your car. In addition to this, the key from the original CAS can be transferred to donor CAS.
It is possible to repair the software without the CAS module. In this case, a full read out of eeprom and flash will be required.
If our customers opt to use this service by post, a working key plus CAS module would need to be posted to us. We aim to repair within 48 hours from time of receipt of key and module.

AUTOMATIC GEARBOX RENEW
This service is for a BMW automatic gearbox (8hpxxz) F & G series only.
Since 2007, all automatic gearboxes installed in BMWs' have anti-theft security code, making the BMW more theft proof. As a result of this security code, it has become impossible to fit used gearboxes.
We offer a service which resets a used gearbox “mechatronic” to a new state. After reset, this used gearbox can then be installed, as a replacement and coded to the vehicle.
We are able to reset an EGS module (conductor plate) without a vehicle being present. For this service, our customers would need to post the EGS module (conductor plate) and we would renew and return in post. Once the EGS module is installed, it will then need coding to the car.
As well as resetting of the gearbox, we offer full service reset plus coding to the car.

FEM/BDC CLONE
We offer professional FEM/BDC BMW repair and cloning services. Our services are covered by a 12 month guarantee on all our work, and parts that we supply.
This repair or cloning service of a failed FEM/BDC module, is often needed due to; unsuccessful mileage correction, unsuccessful key programming or using incorrect / bad tools, lack of knowledge, unsuccessful or aborted firmware update, jump starting a car with a bad battery, battery drainage due to electrical faults, component failure or water damage.
If the FEM/BDC module is completely damaged and is not responsive to OBD diagnostic, or FEM/BDC is missing from your car, we are still able to program and adapt a donor module.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions.

FRM 3 REPAIR
Repair service is available for a BMW FOOTWELL MODULE (FRM3) that is unresponsive to Diagnostic tools. With the FRM3 module in an unresponsive condition, you will notice the following main symptoms: power window failure, rear & front lights permanently on, unable to control headlights to switch on/off, electric wing mirrors not functioning and indicators not operating.
The primary reason why a FRM3 module goes into this condition is due to the low and or unstable voltage supply. There may well be other causes for module failure including unsuccessful software updates and coding. A failed FRM3 will result in the software being corrupted, usually blocking any further communication between the FRM3 and a OBD diagnostic.
The FRM3 module must be removed in order to fix the corrupt software which will allow the normal operation of the FRM3 module and enable all the functions to work again. Vehicle programming data that is lost when the module crashes can be restored to original operational status and recoded to your vehicle. All you need to do is send the broken FRM3 module & the VIN number of your vehicle and we will return the ready to plug & play unit. You will receive your restored module which will be specifically coded to your vehicle without you having to physically present your BMW! The repair of the module is normally within 48 hours. Any question please contact us.
